Welcome! Thank you for your interest in visiting the Messerschmitt Museum of Flight

Conditions and Requirements for your visit
- Your visit to the museum starts at 1 pm at the main gate of Airbus Defence and Space in Manching (Rechliner Strasse, 85077 Manching). Please be there around 12.45pm. Sufficient parking spaces are available in the adjacent visitor car park. A bus will be available for the transfer from the main entrance to the museum. The visit ends at 3.45pm back at the main gate.
- The guided tours are in German and are free of charge.
- The minimum age for a visit is 16 years.
- Should EMC tests (electromagnetic compatibility tests) be carried out on the neighbouring test facility during your visit, a restricted zone will be set up for people with electrical aids, which also includes the museum. People with such electrical body aids (e.g. pacemakers, insulin pumps, etc.) will therefore then not be able to take part in guided tours of the plant. Should this be the case, we will inform you in time.
- Photography for private purposes is permitted in the museum. However, photography is prohibited on the rest of the Airbus Defence and Space site.
- Please note that only visitors registered by name will be granted access to the site. Important: An identity card or passport must be kept ready for identification on the day of the visit.
- Due to the high security classification of the site, persons who are citizens of countries on the Federal Ministry of Economics' restricted list are not permitted to enter the site.
- Pets are not permitted on the site.
- Airbus Defence and Space reserves the right to postpone or cancel guided tours without replacement - even at short notice - for operational or safety-related reasons. No claims for damages can be made against Airbus Defence and Space.
